안녕하세요. 오는 2월 24일(월) 미주한인평화재단 사무실에서 후쿠시마 참사 다큐영화 상영회가 온/오프라인으로 열립니다. 이 영화는 핵 산업과 방사능의 위험을 폭로하는 전문가들의 이야기를 담고 있습니다. 2011년 후쿠시마 재앙 이후 끝없는 탄식이 이어졌습니다. 그러나 도쿄전력(TEPCO)과 일본 정부가 그 영향에 대한 분석을 제한하면서, 재앙의 세부 사항은 비밀에 가려져 있습니다. 과학자들과 내부 고발자들의 인터뷰를 담은 이 다큐멘터리는 체르노빌 이후 가장 심각한 원자력 사고의 배후에서 작용하는 정치·경제적 이해관계를 밝혀냅니다.
이날 상영회에서는 또 한국에서 오신 이원영 교수님이 참석해 오는 3~4월 열리는 '뉴욕-워싱턴DC 후쿠시마 핵오염수 방류 반대 행진'에 대해 설명합니다.

On Monday, February 24th, a screening of the Fukushima Disaster Documentary will be held both online and offline at the Korean American Peace Fund office.
This film features insights from experts who expose the dangers of the nuclear industry and radiation. Since the 2011 Fukushima disaster, there has been endless concern and discussion. However, details of the disaster remain shrouded in secrecy, as TEPCO and the Japanese government have limited analysis of its impact. Through interviews with scientists and whistle-blowers, this documentary uncovers the political and financial interests behind the most severe nuclear accident since Chernobyl.
Additionally, Professor Lee Won-young from South Korea will attend the screening to introduce the upcoming "New York-Washington D.C. March Against Fukushima Nuclear Wastewater Release," scheduled for March–April.
