Korean American Peace Fund Online Forum: "For a World Without Nuclear Weapons"

The Korean American Peace Fund will host an online forum, "For a World Without Nuclear Weapons," featuring members of the Korean Non-Nuclear Peace Citizens' Alliance, who will visit the United States this February and March. The forum will include Rev. Dae-Soo Lee, representative of the Asia Peace Citizens’ Network, who will lead the delegation across the U.S., and Tae-Je Lee, president of the Korean Atomic Bomb Victims’ Descendants Association.

They will share insights on their anti-nuclear activism and plans for their U.S. visit, as well as updates from President Tae-Je Lee’s attendance at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo, Norway, last year, upon the invitation of the Japanese Confederation of A- and H-Bomb Sufferers Organizations, the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

미주한인평화재단 온라인 포럼 “핵무기 없는 세상을 위하여”

미주한인평화재단이 오는 2~3월 미국을 방문하는 한국 비핵평화시민연대 관계자들을 초청해 “핵무기 없는 세상을 위하여” 온라인 포럼을 개최합니다. 포럼에는 2월부터 미주 방문단을 이끌고 미 전역에서 활동을 펼칠 이대수 목사(아시아평화시민넷 대표)와 한국원폭피해자 후손회 이태제 회장이 참여합니다. 이분들의 반핵운동, 미주 방문 활동 계획과 함께 이태제 회장님이 지난해 노벨평화상을 받은 일본 원수폭피해자단체협의회의 초청으로 노르웨이 오슬로에서 열린 수상식에 다녀온 소식도 전합니다. 코리아의 평화와 핵무기 없는 세상을 꿈꾸는 많은 분들의 참여를 바랍니다.
